Carpets
As a Mohawk Color Center, all of our Mohawk styles carry a 10, 7, or 5-year limited performance
warranty against staining and manufacturing defects.
In addition, all 10 and 7 year Mohawk Color Center carpet styles carry a limited texture retention
warranty.
PLUS- All Mohawk Color Center carpet styles have a 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee.
Mohawk Color Center 60 Day Satisfaction
Guarantee- Mohawk Carpet is committed to total satisfaction
and offers the strongest, simplest, full-replacement warranty in the carpet industry. Our 60-Day
Satisfaction Guarantee allows you to buy with complete confidence because if, for any reason, you are
not completely satisfied with your new Mohawk ColorCenter carpet during the first 60 days after
purchase, we will replace it with a Mohawk ColorCenter carpet of comparable value.
(customer is responsible for replacement labor charges)
The only condition is that the carpet you wish to replace must not have been
misused, damaged, or abused. Full replacement option may be exercised once for each original
purchase and applies to carpet only. Labor is the responsibility of the customer.
The replacement carpet cannot be the same style and color as the
original. Installation errors are excluded.
Limited Texture Retention
Warranty- Mohawk warrants that your Mohawk Color Center carpet will not
show abnormal appearance change from foot traffic as a result of the yarn loosing twist. If your carpet
shows abnormal surface changes from foot traffic as a result of the yarn loosing twist, and the carpet's
appearance cannot be restored, Mohawk will arrange a credit based upon the original purchase price of
carpet only. (This warranty applies to 10 and 7-year carpets only.)
Limited Manufacturing Defects
Warranty- Your Mohawk Color Center carpet is warranted to be free
from manufacturing defects. Should a manufacturing defect occur, Mohawk will arrange a credit based
upon the original purchase price of carpet only.
Limited Stain Warranty- Although no carpet is stain proof, Mohawk warrants that your new Mohawk
Color Center carpet will resist food and beverage staining better than comparable untreated nylon
carpet. Hot beverage substances and non-food substances that alter color, such as bleaching agents,
acne medications, and other strong chemicals are excluded.
Warranty Coverage- Upon determination of a valid Texture Retention, Manufacturing Defect, or Stain
claim, credit will be issued based upon the length of time your carpet has been used and according the
appropriate schedule listed below. Credit will be issued to your retailer and will be good toward the
purchase of new Mohawk Color Center carpet of the same or comparable color and style. Credit
applies to you affected areas only and does not include pad or labor.
